Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Many Christians struggle with each other and with each other’s beliefs. “The church on the other side of the road believes that it is alright to worship God with an electric guitar – beware”. Focus on outside observances and petty grievances make us prone to the real danger: the struggle with an unseen reality. The unseen reality, the demons and devil in this world, want us to struggle with each other as much as we can. As long as there is strife and division, nothing will be built, and everyone will be scattered. In the meantime, the devil and his demons prowl about unseen, unharmed and unobstructed.
What we got to do is take our eyes of the electric guitar in the church down the road and start realizing the real struggle: with our thoughts, with ungodly mindsets, with crappy attitudes. When we get those things down, we are one step closer in this battle that matters: the battlefield of the mind.
