2 Corinthians 12:8 When I am weak, then I am strong
The amazing thing about being a Christian is that my output does not depend on the power I have, it depends on the power He has. This means I can work very hard, do a lot of things and undergo a lot of hardships, but still stay fresh and anointed. Paul emphasized that he could do all this because of the grace of God, not because of his own efforts (1 Corinthians 15:10).
Jesus talked about his Father being the gardener, Himself as the vine and we as the branches. As long as we remain firmly planted in his strength, by streams of living water, we will bear much fruit. This is not by our might or power, but by His Spirit.
Sometimes we need to come to the realization that we are weak. We are limited human beings, with limited capacity, limited time and limited resources. As long as we remember that God is an unlimited, all-powerful, eternal God who can supply us with unlimited grace, all-powerful anointing and eternal perspective, we will do more than we can ever pray or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).
The power of God is shown in our weakness.
