What’s your Smell?

Traveling in the “underground” can be a sickening experience, as you smell all the “aroma’s” in the air. As everyone is standing jam-packed, your favorite perfume mixes in with your not-so-favorite perfume, which again is defused by the body odour of those without perfume. All you want is to get out and get some fresh air: “please. someone! give me some fresh air!”

As a Christian we are called to bring a sense of fresh air to those around us. This is what people are looking for!

2 Corinthians 2:15-16 For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. 16 To the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life.

When you look at your life, what smell is protuding from you? Is it a pleasing aroma that saves others or do you tend to dispel people from you in all directions? TIP: hang around people with a pleasing aroma yourself. Their smell will bring a positive rub-on effect on your life, and in turn, start to be a pleasing aroma to others.
