Sometimes that goal or dreams God gives us seem insurmountable. The land is too big, the giants to strong, or there is a raging sea between us and our destiny.
God calls us to rely on him in everything. When the 12 spies came back from spying out the land God had promised them on oath, 10 produced an evil report. They did not believe they could take it. Their faith was not in God but in the circumstances around them. 2 spies however, did not let circumstance have the last say. Their word was:
Numbers 13:30 Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.”
God later said of Caleb that he was “of a different spirit”. The spirit that is in us, when it has its roots deep in God, will always believe what God says, and not what people say.
Walk with God.
