Worries on your mind?

Worries are one of the greatest consumers of our time. They literally consume our time, our brain space, and sometimes even our words or our actions. Worries kill, whereas faith brings life. God calls us to live a life of faith, not of worry, cause worry is based on fear.

Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer…

We can be anxious about “anything”, but the Bible calls to prayer in “everything”. Therefore, whatever is consuming your mind today… go to prayer. Go to God. Go to faith.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds

The awesome thing of this promise is that His peace will not just guard our heart, but also our mind. The word “guard” means that worries will not be able to come in anymore. We will be filled with peace instead. Peace that transcends all understanding.
